How To Cancel A Subscription

Subscriptions can be started in three places: On our builtbyhlt.com website, The Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Canceling the subscription requires different steps depending on where you purchased the subscription. Below we outline how to cancel your subscription whenever you want to!  
Uninstalling the app will not cancel your subscription.

Check your card statement for where the renewal charge came from! Charges from "Mastery Mobile Company" are for purchases/subscriptions and renewals made through our website. 

1. How to cancel subscriptions made on one of our builtbyhlt.com websites:

To cancel a subscription set up through our website you will need to go to the Profile page on that web version of the app.

Once logged in you will see "Profile" in the upper right corner, click on that! 

On the Profile page, scroll down below the "Plan Details" section and select "Stop Auto Renew". Confirm the cancelation by selecting "End my membership" on the following pop-up.

This will cancel all further renewals for the app and you will still have access for the remainder of the time you have already paid for.

2. How to cancel subscriptions from the Apple App Store:

Unfortunately, Apple gives us no jurisdiction within the App Store, so we aren't able to cancel for you nor do we have the ability to change or refund a subscription from the App Store.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Subscriptions.

1. Tap the subscription.
2. Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

3. How to cancel subscriptions from the Google Play Store:

To cancel your subscription, go to your Google Play Account and manage your subscriptions there. The cancellation instructions are below.

Important: When you uninstall the app, your subscription won't cancel.

1. On your Android device, go to subscriptions in Google Play.
2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
3. Tap Cancel subscription.
4. Follow the instructions.
